The Owner
Meet Emalee!
After living in California for 30 years, Emalee returns to Washington where she was born! Riding all of her life, Emalee began jumping competitively in her teenage years. While living in California, she competed in dressage and integrated her love for riding into work, ultimately becoming a supervisor for the elite Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Mounted Unit. In this role, she utilized horses for crime suppression, search and rescue, large event crowd control, community relations, and student education. Prior to retirement from the City of Los Angeles, she supervised the Valley Community Cavalry Rough Riders, a mounted civilian volunteer unit that works with uniformed law enforcement agencies.
After raising a family and "retirement", Emalee moved into the Okanogan area where she is currently a member of the Ferry Country Search and Rescue and is trained in horse mounted operations. Emalee is now establishing the Singing Pines Equestion Center, specializing in all-season horse board and care.
